A.P.P.A. ist eine Installation von sieben Künstlern des Kunstvereins Scotty Enterprises. Die aktuelle Handhabung immenser Bilderberge, schnellste Verfügbarkeit und Mitteilungsmechanismen sind gedankliche Angelpunkte für das Projekt: Per Beamer-Diaprojektion läuft aus einem Pool von jeweils bis zu 100 privaten Schnappschüssen der Künstler Bildmaterial im Zufallsmodus ab. Eine Tonspur gibt den imitierten Diaabend wieder, der zu diesem Bildmaterial zuvor im Kreis der Künstler veranstaltet wurde. Es sind entsprechende Ausführungen zu Bildern, Kommentare und Nachfragen zu hören. Durch den Zufallsgenerator verschieben sich Tonspur und Gesehenes in der Installation. Es ist nicht mehr klar, welches Bild welchen Kommentaren zuzuordnen ist. Neue Bedeutungsebenen werden den Schnappschüssen entlockt, Assoziationen und Brüche herbeigeführt. Gleichzeitig wird die Frage nach der Interpretierbarkeit von Bildinformation gestellt und das Zurücktreten des Künstlers hinter seine Arbeit konterkariert.
