Sowohl Bruno Baltzer als auch Armand Quetsch beschäftigen sich in ihren Fotoserien mit der Erinnerung und dem Vergessen.
Bruno Baltzers Serie La gloire de mon père illustriert metaphorisch seine wieder aufgenommene Beziehung zu seinem an Alzheimer erkrankten Vater. Abwendung und Trennung, Vereinsamung, aber auch Sympathie kommen in den Fotografien, die den Vater in einem leeren Schwimmbecken zeigen, zum Ausdruck.
Armand Quetsch hingegen erforscht in seinen ausdrucksvollen, manchmal düsteren Bildern die Orte, wo einst sein Großvater lebte. Architektur und Objektdetails werden mit Stimmungsbildern kombiniert und versenken uns in eine vergangene Welt. Wie aus dem Nebel steigen Bildelemente hervor, zeitlose und emotionsgeladene Fragmente des Erinnerns. Das Bild wird zum Ort des unbestimmten Seins, der Bezug zum Ort ist nur noch Vorwand und Ausdruck einer Stimmungslage.
