Der Deutsche Jugendfotopreis ist der wichtigste Foto- und Imaging-Wettbewerb für Kinder und Jugendliche in Deutschland. Er wird vom Kinder- und Jugendfilmzentrum in Deutschland (KJF) im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend veranstaltet.
Die Ausstellung Wunderland etc. präsentiert rund 200 Bilder von ca. 50 PreisträgerInnen zwischen 4 und 25 Jahren, die beim Deutschen Jugendfotopreis 2010 prämiert wurden. Die Fotos geben Einblick in die Lebenswelt, die Gedanken und Gefühle von Kindern, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen. Ganz gleich, ob mediale Realitäten, innere Fantasiewelten oder Entdeckungsreisen in die echte Wirklichkeit abgebildet werden, immer offenbaren sich dabei neue und überraschende Wahrnehmungen. Die Arbeiten dokumentieren die zwischen Faszination und Reflexion angesiedelte Bedeutung der Fotografie für junge Menschen, präsentieren aktuelle Bildwelten der jungen Fotoszene und zeigen zugleich Elementarzeichen der Jugendkultur auf.
