Die sechs Künstler des Vereins Kolonie Wedding begeben sich in der Dokumentation der Gegenwart wie auch im Beobachten der Vergangenheit auf die Suche nach urbanen Lebensformen.
Iwona Borkowska untersucht die Prägung des Mythos Frau durch Bilder und seine Funktion in verschiedenen Kulturen.
Lucyna Viales Collagen beschäftigen sich u.a. mit der Symbiose Mensch/Hund und dieser von Unterwürfigkeit geprägten Beziehung.
Elena Ilina untersucht in ihren Collagen ästhetische Formen, die das Überleben im Soldiner Kiez hervorbringt.
Jovan Balovs Arbeiten dokumentieren Details berühmter historischer Denkmäler und werden so zu Echos der Vergangenheit.
Barbara Klinkers Fotoserie zeigt anhand von Häusern einer russischen Kleinstadt das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen dem Gestaltungswillen der Hausbewohner und den tradierten Bauweisen.
Vinzenz Fengler versucht mit seinen inszenierten Fotografien Weiblichkeitskonstruktionen aus Kunst-, Literatur- und Filmgeschichte zu hinterfragen und dekonstruieren.
