Der Budapester Daniel Nemeth, diesjähriger Gewinner des László-Moholy-Nagy-Stipendiums für Fotografie, hat von April bis Juni das Phänomen Berlin à la mode vor Ort untersucht und dabei nicht nur den neuen, die Welt erobernden Lebensstil des zeitgenössischen Berlin, sondern auch die Reflexion der Stadt über ihre eigene Urbanisierung mit der Kamera festgehalten.
Das gemeinsame Studienobjekt Berlin und das gleiche Ausdrucksmittel street photography führt Nemeth mit der ursprünglich aus Siebenbürgen stammenden und seit längerer Zeit in Berlin lebenden Fotografin und Malerin Ágnes Lörincz zusammen. Die Ausstellung stellt Nemeths ethnografischen Stadtbildern die Textil- und Fotokollagen von Ágnes Lörincz als Ausdruck des Berliner Lifestyles und der Mode entgegen. Grundlage ihrer so entstandenen Fotopaintings und Slideshows bilden Modewerbeflächen in Berlin und andernorts.
