The principal focus of interest for members of the Arbeitskreis künstlerische Aktfotografie e. V. [Working Group for Artistic Nude Photography, Regd. Assn.] is on the unveiled or provocatively disclosed human body. We present our photos at our own gallery, in regular exhibitions that vary from month to month.
The Berlin metropolis allows different scenes and lifestyles to flourish alongside one another in a relatively liberal coexistence. We have plunged into a wide range of these subcultures, and have captured a photographic record of ways in which people relate to their own physical being and sexuality. We have portrayed people with tattoos and body piercings, we show nudes walking or cycling by the lakes and in the parks of the city, we were there for Christopher Street Day and the Venus Sex Fair, we have attended erotic parties, we have photographed students and models at life drawing and life photography workshops and we havent been afraid to tackle the theme of love for sale.
