Gemeine Orte [Common Places] there are great differences between the 11 series of works in this exhibition, just as the title can be understood in several different ways. The exhibition is the result of a years seminar at the Ostkreuzschule Schule für Fotografie [Ostkreuz Photographic College], directed by Rudi Meisel, dating from the year 2009. A cross-section of views of central and northern Germany has been created, ranging from provincial settings to the big city.

All of these works are concerned with apparently everyday situations and their photographic realisation. The main focus of the photos presented is on the telling of a story and the pictorial composition. Group interaction in relation to different points of view and motifs has resulted here in interesting, and in some cases exciting insights into various spheres of life.
