Contemporary Korean Photography – the Daegu Photo Biennale 2018

In Korean with simultaneous translation.
With the kind support of Koreanisches Kulturzentrum Berlin.

This year, the city of Daegu in the southeast of the Korean peninsula is hosting the largest exhibition of contemporary photography in Asia and is current ly explicitly promoting exchange and intercultural dialogue with Europe. The event is intended to provide a well-founded insight into contemporary Korean photographic art. Furthermore the Biennale and this year's Portfolio Review will be presented. After a brief introduction to the special exhibition “NEXT IMAGE – The Past of the Future”, two interviews will take place with the artists Andreas Rost and Juyong Lee, both of whom interpret the division of their country through photographic art.
