Bill Godwin received his photographic training together with Helmut Newton from his aunt Else Simon, née Neuländer, whose name as an artist was YVA. She had her last studio until the end of 1938 at Schlüterstr. 45, where now the first exhibition of Bill Godwin's pictures is also being shown.
