Three artists three points of view. This exhibition focuses on the influence of the plethora of communication media on our ways of thinking and seeing, and on the consequent overlapping of realities. Aram Dervent lives and works in Paris. His calmly alienated landscape photographs allow us to forget about natural forces and the powers of nature, interrogating instead our perception of natural beauty in an original way. His use of the motif of reflection gives rise to mystical worlds. Mathieu Bernard-Reymond is a French photographer who lives in Switzerland. In his 'TV' series he constructs artificial urban spaces to yield a sinister world of appearance. His digitally processed photographs examine the relationship between reflection and reality, in particular the reality of media and communication structures. The third photographer represented is Berlin-based Tim Deussen, who is working on a new series of portraits based on proverbs and other double meanings and focusing on human roleplaying.
