'White Wendish' presents four photographers.
Katrin von Lehmann approaches photography from an idiosyncratic point of view. By means of 'photographic plaiting' she opens up surprising pictorial spaces, which with their emphasis on the horizontal and the vertical may suggest associations with architecture.
Ulrike Ludwig exhibits photographic models which unfold as objects into a third, spatial dimension. The boundaries between photography and spatial models like those between image, light and the object have become blurred, resulting in a subtle play of illusion.
Façade as a stage for everyday life Claudia Schömig works with nuances which have an effect on the vibrations emanating from public places. In the form of a photographic installation, cardinal visual aspects of a residential development succeed in creating an associative and atmospheric field of influence.
The starting point for 'Megacityscreen' by Linda Weiss is the idea that the city itself is a screen. The project links up with the situation of a film showing in the cinema. Photos of tunnel scenes in New York give rise to this 'Megacityscreen'.
