Pictures that have never been seen before? In view of the flood of images we are confronted with, that is practically unthinkable. All the same, students at Berlin's Neue Schule für Fotografie [New School of Photography] have set out to see things from a slightly different angle. Their pictures avoid looking directly at the familiar world, with the aim of directing the viewer's attention to the poetic element and so showing something never seen before.
