The works shown in this exhibition seem to be imitations of a virtual diary. Imaginary relationships concocted over the internet degrade to a TV show, and can be switched on and off at will. The object of desire can be replaced at any time. For want of communication with a genuine opposite number, these human connections end up in narcissism and loneliness. Feelings are transmitted in the guise of information, and yet they nourish our longings and our hopes bridge gaps in space and time, and so allow impossibilities to continue to exist.
