With a deliberate reference to the motto of the Third European Month of Photography in Berlin 'Never Seen Before' Ruth Hommelsheim and Sergio Zevallos have here developed a process-oriented and spatially related photographic installation. Taking pictures they chanced upon and photographs of their own arranged settings as a starting point, they have created a complex of works in a working process characterised sometimes by mutual dialogue, at other times by parallel movement in the same direction. A permanent organisation and disorganisation of pictorial materials and content has thus given rise to a joint project which investigates the relationships between the individual body and the organised group.
