ZAK | BRANICKA presents the opening of Katarzyna Kozyra's newest work, "Summer's Tale", the last piece in the series "In Art Dreams Come True". The project questions what it means to be a living star and those fundaments of femininity which allow a woman to exhibit herself, sing, dance and succeed. Kozyras role as both Glorias and the Maestros doppelganger (double) and her transformations within the different filmic works serves as the back drop for a work that brings into focus the influences a piece of art has upon its setting, its participants, and its audience.
In "Summer´s Tale" the scene is set within a fantastical garden. During their garden work, a group of female dwarves come across three enormous mushrooms out of which pop Gloria Viagra, the Maestro and Kozyra herself. While at first in this fabulous dwarf world they are treated with politeness, they soon begin to be distrustfully eyed culminating in the attempted poisoning of the Maestro.
