This exhibition brings together artistic statements by creative Berlin spirits of the art and music scene. At the centre of the exhibition is the photographic series Personal Jesus (2007) by Fabian Knecht, in which he photographs fans of the pop band Tokio Hotel at a concert given by their idols. Knecht succeeds in reflecting the energy of the live performance in the faces of the fan community. Fabian Knecht is a networker who has realised a wide range of projects with different artists among them Uwe Flade, one of the most famous video clip directors in Germany, and Alec Empire, inventor of the violent Berlin Technopunk and leader of the recently reunited band Atari Teenage Riot. This exhibition project also includes artistic statements by Andreas Greiner, who like Knecht studied with Olafur Eliasson, and Ivana Franke, who featured at the Croatian Pavilion of the 2007 Venice Biennial.
