Fusée de la Motographie (English)

100 wooden boxes, over 1,000 photographs and hidden stories, pictures of people, animals, and landscapes, passport photographs, photo strips, color por traits, historical portraits, street scenes and everyday photographs, faded Polaroids – as albums, portfolios, series, and individual pieces. Vincen Beekman has assembled each box individually, inviting ar tists such as Max Pinckers, Bieke Depoorter, and Vincent Delbrouck to contribute images and put together their own boxes. In his performance, Beeckman actively invites the audience to undertake an indi vidual investigation of his mobile photography museum, sparking reflection on alternative forms for today’s museum.
