Solo Work
In her photo series “Solo Work”, Bernadette Keating shows the traces of human labor in an urban environment—labor that has been subjected to an ongoing process of transformation. In an interplay between realism and abstraction, objects are transformed into sculptural works. For the artist, movement and shifting perspectives play a key role. They shift attention to objects and processes that we often don’t perceive in our everyday lives.
