EMOP Berlin – European Month of Photography 2027 announces the start of preparations for next year’s festival; the guiding theme of the 12th EMOP edition is Common Ground. Letters from Europe. The biennial photography festival will take place from March 4 to April 4, 2027, once again highlighting Berlin as a city of photography on both the national and international stage. At the heart of the festival are photographic works that explore Europe as a shared and fragile space of experience that calls for an ongoing renegotiation that is at once critical and ambiguous, documentary and poetic.
