Philipp Bollmann, curator of the Wemhöner Collection, will give a tour of the exhibition Isaac Julien: PLAYTIME  - Works from the Wemhöner Collection that he curated. The show focuses on PLAYTIME, a film that Isaac Julien presented for the first time six years after the profound global financial and banking crisis in 2008. Celebrated for his compelling lyrical films and his video art installations, Isaac Julien is one of the leading artists working in film and video today.

In PLAYTIME Julien addresses a fundamental question: can capital be rendered visible? The prelude of the exhibition forms a series of large scale photographs that were made in close relation to the film itself. During the guided tour, participants will have the opportunity to talk directly with the curator and ask questions about the work.
