BLACK AND QUEER FEMINISM IN BERLIN
With Decolonial City Tour
Dekoloniale Stadtführung

C/O Berlin is pleased to collaborate with Dekoloniale Stadtführung as part of the exhibitions A World in Common: Contemporary African Photography and Silvia Rosi: Protektorat – C/O Berlin Talent Award 2024.

Together, we aim to highlight Black and Queer Feminism the day after International Feminist Struggle Day.

During an engaging tour through the Schöneberg district, you will explore Germany’s global connections with the African and American continents from the perspective of significant women. To understand Intersectional Feminism, we will delve into the inspiring biographies of activists such as May Ayim, Audre Lorde, and Ika Hügel-Marshall—Afro-German visionaries who had a lasting impact on the human rights movement in Germany.

After the tour, participants will receive a coupon for a discounted exhibition entry of €6.
