Walk of Fame
Eve Arnold, Elliott Erwitt, Terry O’Neill, Steve Schapiro, Martin Schoeller, Eva Sereny, David Yarrow

The exhibition Walk of Fame is an homage to the magic of film and its protagonists. Style-defining portraits and film stills from the 1960s and 1970s set the show’s focus, supplemented by impressive works from the decades that followed. Photographs by well-known art photographers such as Helmut Newton, Elliott Erwitt, Herb Ritts, Edward Steichen, Olaf Heine and Steve Schapiro; the iconic portraits of Martin Schoeller; and David Yarrow’s cinematic settings pay homage to that wonderful world that’s always been able to transport us out of everyday life. Taxi Driver, The Godfather, The Misfits, Three Days of Condor and James Bond have shaped the cinematic sensibility of entire generations, and the films have retained their power to impact viewers. The exhibition also provides unusual glimpses into notable film sets and commemorates stars whose art accompanies us to this day.
