Founded in 1983, Isha L’Isha (Woman to Woman) is a successor to the feminist women of Haifa who fought for women’s rights in the 1970s. Since its launch in April 2012, Crack in the Wall has provided a neutral platform for more than 10,000 people, including Israelis and Palestinians. It has brought to the forefront the fact that there are people on both sides who want to be engaged and who are determined to work together to end the status quo. The Parents Circle—Families Forum is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization of over six hundred families, all of whom have lost an immediate family member to the ongoing conflict. The organization has concluded that the process of reconciliation between nations is a prerequisite to achieving a sustainable peace. It thus utilizes all resources available in education, public meetings, and the media to spread these ideas.

The Forum of Israeli Peace NGOs works to promote a reality of peaceful life with the Palestinians finding a sustainable solution to the conflict that will peacefully end Israelʼs corrupting control over the Palestinian people and ensure security, freedom, respect, and good neighborliness between the two peoples in the space between the sea and the Jordan River. It works with the goal of strengthening the cooperation between the organizations and promoting peace, reconciliation, and human rights among Israeli civil society, decision makers, and the international arena thus presenting an alternative to the agenda of the political and the public discourse in the management of the conflict.

Road to Recovery is an Israeli charity that connects Israeli volunteers with Palestinians in need of transportation to doctor’s appointments and other medical care within Israel. The group also assists in transporting Gazans to appointments in the West Bank.

Hand in Hand is a center for Jewish-Arab education in Israel and a network of integrated, bilingual schools for Jewish and Arab children in Israel. The organization was co-founded by Israeli Arab educator Amin Khalaf and Israeli American educator Lee Gordon in 1997 with fifty students at two campuses. Today it operates six schools which have formed a resilient shared society of Jews and Arabs across Israel. Their focus lies in far-reaching, cumulative effects via its students, alumni, and families towards the communities, government officials, and in the media.

Friends of Roots is an inspiring grassroots movement bringing together Israeli and Palestinian activists in Israel/Palestine. Founded 20 years ago by human rights activist Yaakov Manor, the Olive Harvest Coalition mobilizes volunteers to support Palestinian farmers by providing protection and assistance during the olive harvest season. This coalition, which includes organizations like Combatants for Peace, Rabbis for Human Rights, Women for Peace, and Ta’ayush, works to counter settler violence that threatens farmers’ livelihoods and their connection to the land. During this olive-picking season, Palestinians and Jews come together in the fields, protecting one another and supporting the harvest as a powerful act of solidarity.

By day, it hosts educational workshops and solidarity initiatives; by night, it transforms into a dynamic event space with films, performances, sustainability classes, and more.
