The current conditions of Berlin’s three airports are all completely different: there is Tegel, which is still in operation; Tempelhof, which has been taken out of service and is now used for various purposes; and the Berlin–Brandenburg Airport, which is still under construction. In no other city can the history and future of aviation be read in such an exemplary manner.
In 2014, PhotoWerkBerlin held a competition – TERMINAL – in order to give photographers a chance to articulate their artistic standpoint. The works selected by an international jury are being presented in a curated exhibit at the Projektraum/PhotoWerkBerlin as part of the Month of Photography Berlin.

Winners: Oliver Parzer (dasfoto-Preis), Jen Osborn (Artothek-Preis), Rebecca Specht & Marcus Schütze (PhotoWerkBerlin-Preis)
