Wetplate Weekend
WorkshopThe Wetplate Weekend introduces the wonderful world of glass plate photography, which is also known as Ambrotype.
David Puntel shows the technology in Berlin's only Skylight Studio, surrounded by a garden. Participants will learn all the steps of wet-plate technology, from the chemical composition of the solutions used, cleaning the carrier glass plates up to handwritten exposure and development of unique photographs.

The Photo–Portfolio
WorkshopHow do I show a prospective, curator or gallery owner, the essence of my works? Is the ideal form of presentation, the portfolio, the wall or the Web? What is the interaction between form and content?
The aim of the workshop is to communicate effectively the artist work. With reference to examples Norbert Wiesneth will present in detail the process of image selection and the proper form of the portfolio for each occasion and develop strategies for perfecting the presentation.
