Portfolio Reviews

Present your photographs in one-on-one discussions, explain your image ideas in person and benefit from the knowledgable opinions and suggestions of 31 international experts! For Portfolio Reviews on September 30th and October 1st, you'll have the chance as a photographer, artist or student to present your photographic work to world-renowned experts in 15 minute-long individual discussions – including photographers, curators, art directors, journalists and gallery owners. Where: Museum für Fotografie / Helmut Newton Foundation, Jebensstraße 2 . 10623 Berlin
When: September 30th and October 1st, 2016, each of them from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm / 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm 
Participation Fee: 3 discussions for 90 EUR, 6 discussions for 150 EUR
Application Deadline: September 4th, 2016, 11:59 pm

    Michael Biedowicz / Born 1955 / After ten years working as a theatre photographer at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, began his career as picture-editor and photojournalist for various publications / In 1997 joined German weekly DIE ZEIT / Since 2007 to present: picture-editor for ZEITmagazin / Since 2012 CEO at A1A artprint and curator and co-owner of the gallery for photography pavlov’s dog / Member of the judging panels of numerous national and international competitions as Deutscher Jugendfotopreis, Photography Association of the Netherlands / Guest lecturer at MERZ Akademie, Stuttgart, and Neue Schule für Fotografie, Berlin / 2014 awarded membership of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie / Michael Biedowicz lives and works in Berlin.
