As part of the exhibition Imago Mundi. Of Margins and Other Heroes by artist Nicu Ilfoveanu, art historian Ruxandra Demetrescu will give a lecture on Ilfoveanu’s artistic practice. She will discuss his approach in the context of contemporary photography while also addressing broader questions of image production and reception within an ever-evolving visual landscape.
