Since 2009, the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BTK), offers a BA in photography; it has been a regular part of the European Month of Photography Berlin since 2010. For the first time, this year’s exhibition presents the best photographic work by alumni and students, with an emphasis on staged photography. In addition, images and series from international BTK workshops and travels will be presented, including many photographic works that have won international prizes and grants. The third part of the exhibition features the winner of the Artproof Grant, a newly introduced and already renowned prize that was awarded this year to a BTK student. The prizewinner, who will receive 5,000 euros, is selected by an international jury and two BTK professors. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, October 14 at 7 pm.
