Reading with Sabine Küchler on the occasion of the exhibition "FOREST: LANDSCAPES OF REMEMBRANCE" (in German)Die zweite Veranstaltung der Reihe "Literaturhaus der Fotografie" stellt die Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Fotografie und Literatur in den direkten Kontext zur aktuellen Ausstellung der Alfred Ehrhardt Stiftung Wald - Landschaften der Erinnerung von Michael Lange. Auf Einladung des Goethe-Instituts reiste die Schriftstellerin Sabine Küchler in die Nebelwälder Argentiniens, um nach Spuren von „Waldgöttern“ und „Seelenlandschaften“ zu suchen. Reading and panel discussion on the occasion of the exhibition "EAST END! – Punk in East Germany (Photographs from 1980 – 84)"In 1980 began the last long decade in the short existence of the GDR. One unmistakable sign of the coming collapse was East German punk culture. The impact that the first punks had on East German society could only be compared with an alien invasion. The anthology Leck mich am Leben (‘Kiss My Life’) brings together memories and reflections on punk rock in the GDR. The editor Frank Willmann presents the book with selected contributions and their authors.
