1/2 is a project of artistic exchange between four French artists/graphic designers who live in four European cities: Laure Boer in Berlin, Anne- Pauline Mabire in Rennes, Lucie Pindat in Amsterdam and Chloé Thomas in Vienna. The four have created an online space in which to share and discuss each other’s work and self-publish a handmade zine twice a year. The publications are sold in bookshops and art galleries in cities including Berlin, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Brussels, New York, Paris, Rotterdam, Vancouver, Vienna and Rennes and can also be purchased online. 1/2 regularly participates in events including the Vienna Photo- book Festival; Unseen Book Market, Amsterdam; Vancouver Art Book Fair; Zine Pages Fest, Seoul; and C/O Berlin Book Days.
