    EASTER TROUBLE PRESS

As Jim Reed himself says: Easter Trouble Press was founded in 2012, because he “wanted to feel more impor tant.” Self-publishing did a lot for his ego at first: someone wrote once about one of his books, and that felt good; another person did it, that felt even better. Like a lot of things in life though, self-publishing stopped feeling good af ter time passed. It used to feel like a special thing, but now it feels clichéd to him (and awkward, like right now while having to write the word “he” instead of “I”). He wants to be strong, like Gerhard Steidl, but he isn’t that strong. He sees other books and thinks: “Wow, that is a lot better
than anything I’ve ever made.” He sees other books and thinks: “What is this crap?” The first book he made was called Easter Trouble. He made it as a child, with no selfish intent. He wonders if he’ll ever do that kind of thing again. He hopes so.

    ECAL

The École cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) offers bachelor and master programs in the areas of visual communication, art, cinema, and design. Ranked among the world’s top 10 universities in its field, ECAL equips its students with practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Founded in 1821, ECAL currently has 600 students from over 40 nations. ECAL presents their work at fairs, exhibitions and conferences, such as at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Tate Modern in London and Design

This is how numerous par tnerships have been formed over the years with other art and design schools, as well as with companies such as Vacheron Constantin, Hermès, Nestlé and BMW Group.
